Bio
Weronika Grzes (*1996, Poznan, PL) is a painter who explores the alchemy of color and line. Her recent work discovers the relationship between figuration and abstraction, between image and word, plane and space. She is interested into the theme of female representation and seeks new approaches to portraiture.
2016-2019: BA Art Education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, PL.
2017-2021: Studies at the painting department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, PL.
2018 -2019: Erasmus exchange at the University of Veliko Turnovo St Cyril and St. Methodius, BL.
2020: Erasmus exchange at the Academia di Belle Arte in Napoli, IT
2020-2022: MA Contemporary Art Practice, Bern Academy of the Arts, CH.
